ARTANTICA was born out of the passion of three women, two portuguese and a french, for the portuguese tiles and handicrafts, in 1992.
The inicial objective of exporting tiles and diverse ceramics was achieved with the distribution by several french decor shops.
The opening, in 2001, of a studio-shop in an historical hood in Lisbon created a dinamic gathering pole for several craftsmen concerned on developing both fine reproductions of tiles and ceramics from the XVII^th and XVIII ^th centuries and contemporaneous creations, some already shown in individual exebitions.
